I write, teach, and speak. And I can move your people to action.

WRITE

From brand storytelling to motherhood, entrepreneurship to reinvention—writing is where I make meaning. It’s how I ask better questions, challenge assumptions, and connect real people to powerful ideas.

My words have fueled brands, inspired founders, and sparked conversations on platforms around the world. Whether I’m writing a keynote or an essay—I write to move my energy and inspire others in the process.

TEACH

Over the past 12+ years, I’ve taught thousands of founders and small businesses—guiding them through the vulnerable, brave work of building something from scratch.

Whether I’m in the classroom, on stage, or through digital platforms, I love to take complex ideas, break them down, and present them in a way that galvanizes people to take meaningful action. My work has always been about helping people see what’s possible.

SPEAK

From Red Bull to Target to TEDxWomen, I bring heart and clarity to every stage I step on by delivering powerful talks on brand building, entrepreneurship, and redefining success on your own terms.

My talks are honest, high-impact, and deeply human—because I believe all audiences should reconnect to their vision, rewrite the rules, and walk away ready to build something bold.

Why I stepped away from the company I built during our biggest year yet.

01

What a way to dip my toes back into writing after a 5-year hiatus.

Between the black hole that was Covid, the birth of my 2nd daughter, growing and scaling Her Brand & Co. and general life — needless to say, it’s been a minute.

And well, I have some news. After many months of investigating why I was feeling so burnt out, a family trip to the Netherlands and finding some time in Italy to get back into my body — I’ve decided, along with my co-founder, to step away from growing our company.

It’s hard to synthesize every step that’s gotten us here, and like most big decisions, it isn’t one big reason. It’s a collection of events, timelines, and circumstances that have delivered us on this path. And so, in true fashion, my co-founder Mari and I created a heartfelt video explaining our collective “why” and how we plan to move forward.

Life, entrepreneurial lessons, my new role, and the road ahead.

02

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by how stories, images, music, video and other forms of media can drastically influence human behavior.

You see, I was raised by a single mom with very little options for growth in a relatively unremarkable town. I never really felt like I belonged, always had my eye on the prize, the next step, a way out.

So when my 8th-grade guidance counselor told me about a special high school program, I understood it to be a sliver of light pointing me towards options.

Before I knew it, my mom and I were sitting at our small kitchen table reviewing the application, planning ahead for what it would mean to start brand new at a different high school, and talking about options for my way out, my future.

How I overcame my own leadership and founder bias.

I just spent the last 2.5 weeks in a swirly, creative, confusing, and challenging headspace.

Since the acquisition of Her Brand & Co., we've been collecting customer data and feedback in anticipation of our new launch. I intuitively knew (loosely), some assets we would need to relaunch HBC 2.0, but I was really on the struggle bus to figure out how to tie it all together.

When you grow a brand that you love, not only are you loaded with every memory of that journey, but you're also inundated with every intimate function of the business.

Your past, present, and future is smushed up into one messy, unclear memory soup.

It's hard to see the forest beyond the trees. So knowing that I would be tasked with figuring out what to propose for our new offerings, I felt 7+ years of confirmation bias creeping in, creating friction to my normal flow of imagining and intuition.

So, I decided to try something new.
